I studied BA Economics and Philosophy at University, in which I obtained a 2:1, and I am going to be studying MSc Data Science this autumn!
I have just over three years' experience tutoring GCSE and KS3 level students, primarily in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have also tutored children for the 11+ exams in Maths and Verbal Reasoning.
My tutoring philosophy is based around positive reinforcement and encouragement. I believe each student learns differently and we can work together to find the method that is most effective. I enjoy teaching with plenty of diagrams and real-world examples; I feel they really help cement concepts and students can leave the lesson feeling confident in what they have learnt and how it is applied.
I hope we can work together to achieve the best possible results!
