Hi! I am a currently studying a masters in International Relations at the University of Sheffield. I graduated with a high First Class Honours Bachelors degree in history and politics and received A grades in my A-levels. I never once received a grade lower than a First throughout my second and third years at university and received a mark of 94/100 on one of my A-Level politics exam. I will be going on to complete a PhD in political history next year and I am also currently learning to speak fluently in Italian. I can help with grammar, content knowledge, essay writing and general revision tips.  

 

As a student myself, I understand all too well the high levels of stress and anxiety that pupils go through during the run up to exam season. However, exam stress can be easily managed and I hope to help pupils feel less anxious and more confident for their exams. 

 

I have experience in tutoring and have also done limited work experience within a school as well as taking courses in education and engaging others. This course led me to develop my own political podcast which helped students learn about local politics in their area.  Being a student myself, I have picked up a lot of tips on how to write high-level essays. Having done writing-heavy subjects for the last 7 years, I can confidently teach students how to plan, structure and write a comprehensive essay.
