About me:

Hi, I'm mark. I currently work as a maths teacher in a London secondary school and I'm offering online tuition. With me you'll get excellent subject knowledge of GCSE maths (of all 3 main exam boards), a wealth of resources and an enthusiastic and friendly approach all with the aim to get you the highest mark possible in your exams.

 

Teaching Style:

I understand that every student is an individual with their own needs. Because of this I believe that listening is every bit as important as speaking when it comes to teaching. Some students find maths frightening and need encouragement, others have a love for the subject and are looking for deep understanding and to be challenged. Whatever the student's requirements, I aim to be as accommodating and adaptable as possible so that the lessons can be enjoyable and productive.

 

Experience:

I'm an experienced secondary mathematics teacher, having worked for 5 years in both state and private schools.

Additionally I have 300 hours experience private tuition.

 

Qualifications:

Bsc in Astrophysics from University of Sussex (first class honours)

Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Secondary Mathematics from University of Sussex

Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
