With over ten years' experience teaching students from a range of backgrounds, I have always maintained positive relationships with students and parents. Lessons are friendly and informal.

I have had the pleasure of meeting a diverse mix of students from all over the world and look forward to teaching more. There is no typical student for me. A non-exhaustive list includes: sixth formers in need of a further push, Oxbridge hopefuls, undergraduates in need of clarification, students retaking A-Levels, severe SEN, veterans, students with behavioural issues and GCSE students in need of preparation for college. Whatever your ability level, I can help you improve.

I also coach students for university (including 10-30 students per year for Oxbridge). This includes personal statements, work experience applications, wider reading, aptitude tests and interview preparation. I have also helped students apply to Med/Vet/Dental School. Normally, all my students get interviews and approximately 40% get places (average success rate is around 10-15%). Whether students achieve their first choices or not, I advise them with next steps. I recognise the pressures students face and provide them with empathetic support.
