I am a recently retired teacher who has a passion for learning. I enjoy taking on new and exciting challenges. I also have two children that have inherited my passion for learning. I found that teaching my grandchildren through their primary school years has given them much joy and development and I'd like to give this to as many children as possible. I hope to pass on my love of learning and help children to succeed with their education
- I have 34 years experience of teaching in multi- cultural schools and I have gained vast experience of the whole of the primary age range from nursery to year six
- I have taught in secondary and adult education
- I have been a private tutor for over 10 years
- I am experienced in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 exam preparation
- I am able to help children with their literacy, numeracy, spelling and handwriting
- I provide individually tailored 1 to 1 teaching
- I can help your child to catch up, keep up and move forward in their learning
- I have extensive experience in teaching English as a second language for people of all ages
