Hi, I’m Julia. I’m a newly qualified doctor with a strong academic background and over four years of tutoring experience. I’ve supported more than 50 students through GCSEs, A levels, 11 plus, and medical school applications, with outstanding results.

Many of my students have gone on to achieve top 8 and 9 grades at GCSE, secure places at competitive sixth forms and grammar schools, and receive offers from medical schools across the UK. I work with students of all abilities, helping them build confidence, master content, and develop strong exam technique that delivers real results.

• UCAT, personal statement and interview coaching for aspiring medical students

I achieved all 8s and 9s at GCSE and three As at A level before going on to study medicine. I understand the pressure and competition students face today, and I use my own experience to guide them through the process with clarity and support.

My lessons are structured, focused and always tailored to each student’s needs. Whether we are covering core content or sharpening exam technique, my goal is to make sure the student understands, improves and feels confident. I combine friendly, approachable teaching with a clear strategy for success.

A typical session includes:

• Practising exam-style questions
• Setting focused tasks to consolidate learning

Closer to exams, we shift towards active recall, past paper practice and refining the skills needed to pick up every mark.
