I am a friendly and outgoing individual with a deep passion for science, particlualrly biology. Having obtained a dergree in biomedical sciences and working as a science technician at a secondary school,I decided to embark upon teacher's training in secondary science as I knew I wanted to pursue something in the educational field surrounded by young pupils. Alongside my teacher's training and throughout the pandemic, I also tutored students from Key Stages 1-4 in Maths, English and science in small class sizes up to 5 students and also one-to-one. Ever since I have started teaching/ tutoring, I have met some very aspirational pupils whom I truly forsee to be the next generation of scientists! Passing on the key scientific skills and knowledge has resulted in a satisfying career offering something different each day. Moreover, I have learnt a plethora of pedagogical techniques that I not only apply in the classroom, but also online during one-to-one teaching. 

Aside from biology, I can also teach chemistry, physics and mathematics as I have studied all these subjects at A-Level. Currently, I am taking a short break from teaching so am available to teach anytime from 9am-5pm in weekdays and 9am-1pm during weekends. These timings cover school holidays too but in case I cannot teach at any point within those hours, you can be assured that I shall provide enough notice and try my level best to help the pupil catch up on any learning missed.
