I’m a friendly and outgoing student currently studying medicine at UCL, having done biology, chemistry and maths at A level. I know just how difficult it can be learning the massive quantity of content for each subject, on top of juggling it with all your other studies. That’s why I’m determined to help you with all those tricky topics to help build both your understanding and confidence in the subject. My goal is to help you conquer your maths and science fears and get those grades that you deserve! Having achieved an A* in maths and all 3 sciences at GCSE and A*AB at A level, I have a strong academic background and understanding of each subject. I’ll provide 30 min-1 hour long online lessons that are in-depth but not too daunting, in a positive and encouraging environment. I’m also happy to teach UCAT and BMAT preparation, having sat both myself, if you are an aspiring medical student. Lessons will be planned around the topics that you’re struggling with to help you get your head around all those complex theories, as well as going through tips and tricks for the best ways to revise and finding which revision strategy works best for you. In each lesson I will provide exam-style practice questions to make sure you have a strong grasp of the topic as well how to approach it in an exam setting. I’m also happy to help you with questions that you’ve completed either in class or in homework’s that you found challenging so I can show you the best way to approach them. It’s not just learning the content that’s hard, its also learning to master exam technique; that’s why we’ll work through a few questions each week under timed-conditions to help you familiarise yourself with the timings to make sure you perform the best that you can in the exam hall.
