Hello! My name is Sarah and I have 7 years’ experience working as a Secondary Maths Teacher, in West Yorkshire, at both KS3 and KS4. I also have 4 years’ experience in tutoring Maths at both Foundation and Higher level and 2 years’ experience in GCSE exam marking. I have also spent the last 2 years teaching FMSQ Additional Maths to students considering A-Level Maths.

Once I have assessed your current knowledge, I will seek to plug any gaps through direct teaching, with opportunities for practise through written questions. I also offer exam practice and assessment to those students studying for their GCSEs. I use a range of resources in my teaching and can also point you in the direction of free resources to use at home.

I am happy to tailor our sessions to meet your individual learning style once sessions have started and will continuously assess where you may need further help.

Tutoring sessions typically take place weekly for one hour. However, those due to sit their Maths GCSE quite often request two hourly sessions per week, in the lead up to their exams.
