Michael Mulligan

Dear Parent / Student,

I've been a secondary school teacher in the West of London and a private tutor of both Maths and Physics for 25+ years; and the Head of Physics Department for 15 years;

I am very familiar with the requirements of the main Exam Boards and the recent changes to their specifications in both Maths and Physics.

I have taught students across the full ability range, students with moderate learning difficulties as well as those aiming to achieve top grades in GCSE and at A - Level.

All of my advanced students have gone on to University, some to medical school and successful Oxford or Cambridge entrance.

In my early years I gained experience as an examiner and that has enabled me to guide my students more effectively in preparation for GCSE and A - Level exams.

Over the last few years I have developed strategies, including Skype, Zoom  and the latest advances in technology, to carry out tuition online, so that I can share my knowledge and enthusiasm with a wider range of students who would benefit from my help. Please ask me for details of how my online tuition can work for you.

Most of the work I do in support of my student is done outside of the hour's tuition - it includes planning, preparation, setting papers or homework, marking papers or homework, providing online support between lessons, providing immediate feedback to the student and parent. That's all FREE.

For the hour's tuition I charge - KS3, GCSE £45 per hour ; for A-Level it's £50 per hour.
