Hi I'm Dean, I am a Mathematics tutor who is also currently working as a Financial Accountant.

I have almost two years of experience tutoring Mathematics from 1 to 1 up to 6 students at once. I have obtained an A* grade in GCSE Mathematics and have also completed A level Mathematics. I further honed my Mathematics skills through the completion of a heavily Maths based Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Economics. 

I am looking to help students from a range of ages. I specialise in GCSE Mathematics and have learned a number of tips and tricks in preparing for GCSE exams which can seem daunting for many students. Whether you are looking to obtain the best grades possible, or are struggling and looking to improve a few grades, I am open to all abilities and backgrounds. I pride myself on my patience and flexibility, all your specific needs and requirements will be listened to in depth and I will adapt accordingly.

I also have experience working with primary school children in my work as a tutor in First Class Learning South Liverpool, so students from ages 7-16 are welcome.  

Lessons are one hour long and are question focused, making use of exam resources to ensure that each session will contribute towards improving exam success. Having completed Mathematics exams only a few years ago, I understand that exam style questions can be very different from typical textbook questions and students can be left disappointed and overwhelmed when faced with more complicated questions in their exams. I will help you address your areas of strength and weakness and will not waste any more time than necessary on any one topic. Weekly homework will be issued in order to apply the knowledge learned in each session and this will be looked over at the beginning of the next session for as long as is required to ensure that the student fully understands the techniques and knowledge required.
