Lynne Ash

I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years (previously I was a University Researcher, Lecturer and Administrator). Although my PhD was in Chemistry I taught GCSE Maths in a State School for 10 years and then GCSE Science as well as A Level Chemistry and A Level Physics in a Special School for 9 years. I have been privately tutoring pupils for most of that time. I have helped pupils with Maths and Science Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.  I have prepared pupils for Public School Entrance Exams and 11 Plus.  I have tutored GCSE Maths as well as GCSE Biology, Physics and Chemistry Single and Double/Dual Award Science and GCSE Applied Science.  I have also helped students doing A Level Chemistry, Physics and Pure and Applied A Level Mathematics as well as University Scholarship exams and the Mathematics International Baccalaureate. I was a WJEC GCSE Maths examiner for 4 years. I am now retired from school teaching but enjoy teaching on line which leaves me time for my family of one grown-up son, four dogs and five cats! My motto is ''You know more than you think you know'' and my aim is to instil confidence and reassurance into my pupils.

JULY 2022. Having helped  7 students to sit their GCSE exams this summer and also having helped 3 students to sit A levels last month I now have lessons available on most weekdays if you want to book for a September start.  I am also available on a Saturday at most times of the day.
