Hi, my name is Juliana Kim and I am currently 2nd year studying BSc Biomedical Sciences in UCL. I received 8A* and 3As for my GCSE and I got an A for my AS physics and I graduated with A*A*A for Maths, Chemistry and biology for A level. Throughout my secondary school, I have been nominated several times as the top in the year for several subjects like Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I have also contributed in Maths and Biology Olympiad achieving silver for both. Thus I have a very strong educational background. I have great passion in teaching since long time ago as I find it rewarding to see how much positive impact i can have to someone's life just by sharing my experience. I initially build up my teaching experience by volunteering in tutoring at school since GCSE then I tutored more students (especially KS3 and GCSE) outside school for mainly Maths and Sciences until now. I recently helped out A level students who wanted to apply to Medicine or similar course as Biomedical Sciences as well as those who want to apply to Oxbridge with their university admissions. I am also currently teaching a 10 years old kid to prepare for Maths GCSE thus I can help briliant kids to achieve greater things fast! My teaching style is very interactive. I tried to help students build their problem solving skills by themselves. I am very organised so I can provide resources or quizzes to further help the students reach their target. I try to customise my teaching style to the students learning style and pace. I also can teach some of the useful special techniques for Maths that are not taught anywhere in UK! I am currently writing model answers for GCSE to A level for maths and sciences for various examboards. Hence, I am very well aware of the examboard style and contents. I can teach students from primary school kids up to A level students for Maths and 3 Sciences except for physics which i can do up to GCSE level. I can even help students out in their school entry (e.g. 11+ entrance exam) or university admissions if wanted.
