Hello, I'm Hannah!

I am an English and Qualified EFL Teacher with 5 years’ experience. Alongside, my own client base, I am also employed as an Online ESL teacher with an internationally renowned company "in China". I work with all ages, levels, nationalities and needs. I have taught in excess of 200 students in my career so far, all exceeding their expectations and/or targets.

Prior to being a full-time teacher, I worked in one of the UK’s leading EFL schools as a Language Assistant. I have a First-Class BA in English Literature with Creative Writing, as well as an MA in Literature from the University of York.

I believe part of being a great teacher is being an avid learner, so I am also learning languages: Spanish and Italian.

MY APPROACH:

It’s all about you!

You are the director of your tuition. While following the curriculum/exam board is paramount, getting where you want to be starts by meeting you where you are. I strongly encourage students to be self-reflective and think about what areas they find most challenging. This is helpful in determining how to structure the exam and lesson content in a direction that is going to challenge and strengthen the target areas. Most of all, I want my students to thrive and leave class knowing or feeling confident about something new.
