Clara Marchese

Hi, my name is Clara, and I am a second-year student of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University College London. I really like my degree because it is a very practical course that allows me to face real world problems and find ways to solve them. Thanks to my course, I developed my problem-solving and creativity skills, being able to find different ways to solve a problem. I am a hard-working student who thrives in team working experiences and loves to share the passion for electronic engineering with others.

Outside of my studies, I am involved in the UCL medieval society, where I have fun sharing my passion for medieval history with others. I also like to play video games.

Preparing for an exam or a test can be very stressful and time-consuming. Sometimes one can get stuck on a problem trying to understand it for a long time. This always happens in my course, as the problems engineers must solve are various and all quite different. So, what do we do? Ask questions! When one is stuck on something, one of the best ways to understand it is to ask questions, discuss, collaborate! And probably what you were stuck on was so easy, and what you needed was to ask someone!

Therefore, one of the best ways to learn is to be curious and ask questions.

I am a very patient, perseverant, and encouraging person. So, I am sure I can help students be more confident and clear any doubts you might have!
